We lay pieces of glass on a base and fire them in a kiln at 800 °C. The layers fuse into one solid sheet without metal seams.
How it works
After firing the glass becomes uniform. The image can be raised and relief or flat, with soft, watercolour-like contours.

Can fusing be used in a bathroom or outdoors?
Yes, it withstands moisture and temperature changes.
How is it different from Tiffany?
Tiffany pieces are joined with copper foil and solder; fused glass has no metal joints.
